Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client preferences.
- Provide specialised treatments such as the latest colour and cutting techniques.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored advice.
- Manage front desk duties, including appointment scheduling, client check-in, and payment processing.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
- Support store management in maintaining a clean, organised, and inviting salon environment.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development and team cohesion.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and product knowledge in the hair & beauty industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
- Skills in barbering are desirable but not essential.
- Experience in store management or overseeing salon operations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in customer service with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform solely or as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services and retail products effectively.
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Ability to work well within a team environment while also demonstrating independence in managing appointments.
