Overview
NIC Local Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail oriented evening cleaner to join our team on a temporary basis for holiday cover in London (SW7). This role is ideal for someone with experience in commercial cleaning who is available during evening hours. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.
Schedule and pay
- Dates: 21 September to 17 October 2026
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00pm to 10.00pm (2 hours per day)
- Pay: £13.50 per hour
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial premises, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal areas
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained
- Empty bins, replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels, and report any maintenance issues
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality
- Complete cleaning tasks within designated timeframes to ensure minimal disruption to daily operations
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
