Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Seasonal Bar Person to join our team during the busy season. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively and fast paced Wine & Cocktail Bar, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently. The successful candidate will be working daily along side the business owner.
Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels throughout shifts
- Assist in setting up and packing down the bar area before and after service periods
- Engage with guests to create a friendly, welcoming environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during busy periods
- Commitment to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to team efforts
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who enjoy engaging with people in a vibrant environment. All applicants must be aged 18 or over, possess the legal right to work in the UK, and be available for the duration of the seasonal period.
Pay: £16.00 per hour
