Our Northampton branch is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our busy team.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on role focused on executing multi-drop deliveries and collections safely, efficiently, and on schedule across the region. You will serve as the face of the company while out on the road, ensuring accurate order deliveries and excellent service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving & Delivery: Safely operate company vehicles to complete multi-drop deliveries and collections of cable and accessories to customer sites and depots.
- Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Perform daily pre-use vehicle checks, secure loads properly, and adhere strictly to transport regulations and road safety laws.
- Delivery Documentation: Hand over goods professionally, ensure delivery notes are correctly signed and returned, and report any delivery issues promptly.
- Customer Service: Maintain a polite, professional, and helpful attitude when interacting with customers at delivery locations.
Candidate Requirements
- Driving Licence: Full, valid UK driving licence with a clean record (or minimal points).
- Experience: Experience in multi-drop driving and route planning is preferred.
- Work Ethic: Punctual, dependable, and physically capable of handling heavy loading and unloading tasks.
- Communication: Clear verbal communication skills and a professional customer-facing manner.
Pay: £13.43 per hour
