La Dragon is a popular Asian restaurant in the heart of Kilmarnock, known for our freshly prepared dishes, friendly atmosphere, and high standards of service. We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our team and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Role Overview
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and efficient. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen equipment
- Keeping all kitchen areas clean and tidy
- Assisting with basic food prep when required
- Supporting chefs and front-of-house staff during busy service periods
- Following hygiene and safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Good teamwork skills and reliability
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting (preferred, but not essential)
