At Crozier Campers, we build some of the most recognised campervans in the country. Every vehicle that leaves our workshop reflects the quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail that our reputation has been built upon.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to take ownership of the day to day running of our workshop.
This is a key leadership position within the business. You will be responsible for coordinating production, leading the workshop team and ensuring every vehicle progresses efficiently through manufacture whilst maintaining the exceptionally high standards our customers expect.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of the workshop, manage production schedules, identify and resolve issues before they impact delivery and help create a positive, accountable and well organised working environment.
Duties
- You will take ownership of the day to day operation of the workshop, including:
- Coordinating daily production activities across all active vehicle builds.
- Managing workflow to ensure production targets and agreed delivery dates are achieved.
- Allocating work effectively across the workshop based on workload, priorities and available resources.
- Monitoring the progress of every vehicle throughout production and identifying potential delays at the earliest opportunity.
- Leading, motivating and supporting the workshop team to maintain productivity, quality and professionalism.
- Ensuring work is completed to Crozier Campers' quality standards throughout every stage of manufacture.
- Carrying out regular quality inspections and ensuring any issues are addressed promptly.
- Working closely with the Operations Manager to communicate workshop performance, resource requirements and production risks.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, workshop layout, processes and productivity.
- Ensuring excellent standards of housekeeping, organisation and health and safety are maintained at all times.
- Promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, quality and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Previous experience leading a workshop or manufacturing team.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership ability.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A practical approach to problem solving.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desirable but not essential
- Experience within automotive, coachbuilding, engineering or specialist manufacturing.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques.
- Health and Safety awareness

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
