Support Worker
Hours: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available, including evenings and weekends
About the Role
We are looking for committed, compassionate Support Workers to join a dedicated adult social care service in the Sefton area. This is a hands-on role supporting adults to live meaningful, independent and dignified lives within a safe, structured and supportive environment.
You will work as part of a stable and experienced team, supporting individuals with daily living tasks, emotional wellbeing, social activities and community engagement. No two days are the same, but the focus on dignity, respect, safety and person-centred support remains constant.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, has a caring nature and wants to make a genuine difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with personal care, daily routines and wellbeing in a respectful and person-centred manner
- Encourage participation in meaningful activities, hobbies and social opportunities both at home and within the community
- Assist with planning and participating in outings, appointments and local events
- Build positive relationships with the people you support, their families and other professionals
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide safe, consistent and high-quality support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and confidentiality procedures at all times
- Participate in training, supervision and team meetings
- Where required, support transportation needs using service vehicles

Desirable
- Previous experience supporting adults within a care, support or community setting (paid or voluntary)
- Level 2 qualification in Adult Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
- Full UK driving licence
- Confidence supporting activities, hobbies and community engagement

Pay: £12.71 per hour
