The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Commercial Electrician looking to join a well-established building services company with over 30 years of success?
We're looking for an Electrician to join our growing team, carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a wide range of commercial properties throughout Hull , Leeds and Yorkshire.
Working with long-standing contracts across the NHS, education, government buildings, offices and industrial sites, you'll become part of a supportive engineering team with genuine opportunities for progression.
The Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical maintenance and repair works, ensuring clients receive a professional and reliable service.
Duties Include
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Reactive maintenance and electrical repairs.
- Fault finding and diagnostics.
- Emergency lighting testing and repairs.
- Lighting upgrades and replacements.
- Small electrical installation works.
- Consumer unit and distribution board maintenance.
- Power and lighting circuits.
- Testing and inspection where qualified.
- Completing remedial works following EICRs.
- Accurately completing job reports using a PDA.
- Liaising professionally with customers and site management.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations.
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Commercial Electrician.
- Experience carrying out service, maintenance and fault finding.
- Strong diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
- ECS Card (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
