We are creating one of the UK's most exciting new luxury hospitality destinations and are seeking an exceptional Head of Commercial Operations to help bring that vision to life.
Our new estate will combine a championship golf course, luxury hotel, a destination restaurant, private events and exceptional guest experiences to establish a landmark destination within the UK's luxury hotel and restaurant scene.

We are looking for an experienced leader who understands what defines true luxury, has operated within demanding five-star environments and possesses the commercial and operational expertise to help position the estate as a benchmark for excellence.
The Role
Jointly reporting to the Head of Finance and the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial and operational performance of the estate's hospitality and leisure businesses.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will help establish the systems, service culture and operational excellence expected of a luxury destination from day one. You will be a visible leader, ensuring every aspect of the guest experience reflects the highest standards of quality, professionalism and attention to detail while supporting the commercial objectives of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire departmental managers to deliver exceptional operational performance.
- Work closely with the Head of Finance and the Commercial Director to deliver the estate's commercial strategy and financial objectives.
- Develop and implement initiatives that maximise revenue, profitability and long-term growth.
- Drive occupancy, average spend, membership growth and ancillary revenues across the estate.
- Establish and maintain exceptional guest service standards across all departments.
- Analyse commercial performance, identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
- Build a culture of accountability, excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure every department operates efficiently while maintaining outstanding service quality.
- Work collaboratively with finance, sales and marketing to achieve ambitious commercial objectives.
- Contribute to budgets, forecasts and operational business planning.
- Recruit, mentor and develop high-performing management teams.
- Play a key role in the successful launch and ongoing development of the estate.
About You
This role requires an exceptional hospitality professional with significant experience operating at the highest level.
You will demonstrate:
- Extensive senior leadership experience within luxury hospitality.
- Previous experience in a five-star hotel, luxury resort, private estate, exclusive members' club or internationally recognised hospitality brand.
- Experience contributing to the successful opening or launch of a luxury hospitality operation would be highly advantageous.
- Significant responsibility for commercial performance, departmental budgets and operational planning.
- Experience overseeing multiple revenue streams including hotel, restaurants, events and leisure operations.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
- Outstanding attention to detail and uncompromising standards.
- A hands-on leadership style with a visible presence throughout the business.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Experience within luxury golf resorts or premium leisure destinations would be highly advantageous.
