The role of Maintenance Engineer:
- Performing general repairs and ongoing servicing of machinery on-site
- Diagnosing and resolving faults as needed
- PLC fault finding and diagnostics
- Electrical maintenance including wiring and inspection
- Keeping manufacturing management regularly informed on progress
- Planning and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Reacting promptly to machine breakdowns, solving problems efficiently
- Following company health and safety policies
- Monitoring and maintaining maintenance tools, stores, and equipment
