Are you an experienced senior care assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity? Ridgegate Home is seeking a bank senior care assistant for our warm, charitably-run residential care home for older people in Reigate, Surrey.
Nestled in a peaceful setting, Ridgegate Home provides a safe, supportive and compassionate environment for elderly residents who are no longer able, or no longer wish to live independently. In addition to long-term residential care, we offer short-term respite stays to support families and caregivers when needed.
Duties will include supporting residents with their daily needs, promoting their dignity, independence and supervising care staff. Responsibilities include administering medication, completing care records, responding to residents’ needs, liaising with healthcare professionals and families, and ensuring care is delivered safely and in line with company policies and regulations.
The compassion and care that you give to residents is of paramount importance. Qualifications and knowledge are also important. You should be proficient in the use of relevant digital technology, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team is a key requirement for this role.
