Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient office functions, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. Duties
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to optimise team performance
- Oversee human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management
- Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping, invoicing, and expense tracking
- Maintain effective communication channels within the organisation through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure follow-up on action points
- Oversee clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained in good working order
- Implement organisational procedures to improve workflow efficiency
- Uphold professional phone etiquette when liaising with clients, suppliers, and staff
Experience
- Proven experience in an office management role or similar administrative position
- Supervising experience with a track record of leading teams effectively
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Solid understanding of human resources processes and best practices
- Extensive office experience including clerical and administrative tasks
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to manage team dynamics and foster a collaborative work environment

Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
