The Construction Project Coordinator supports the successful delivery of construction projects by coordinating activities between clients, contractors, suppliers, and site teams. The role involves monitoring project progress, maintaining project documentation, providing regular client updates, and ensuring effective communication between office and site operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Communication & Updates
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project progress and scheduling.
- Provide regular project status reports, site updates, and milestone achievements.
- Coordinate client meetings, site visits, and progress presentations.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain positive client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Site Coordination & Monitoring
- Liaise with site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to track daily progress.
- Collect and compile site reports, photographs, and progress updates.
- Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays or risks.
- Assist in coordinating labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities.
- Ensure project information is accurately communicated between office and site teams.
Project Administration
- Maintain project records, documentation, contracts, and correspondence.
- Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and action logs.
- Track project budgets, purchase orders, and invoices as required.
- Support project managers in planning and scheduling activities.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements.
Health, Safety & Quality
- Support the implementation of health and safety policies on site.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Report safety concerns, incidents, or quality issues to project management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Experience in construction project coordination or administration.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and site operations.
- Experience preparing client reports and project documentation.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
