Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an organised and proactive Warehouse Co-ordinator / Planner to join our operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a newly created role, supporting the efficient planning and coordination of our warehouse and logistics operations.
Liaising with the Heads of Departments, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and transport providers, you will have a comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety procedures, coordinate warehouse activities, manage inbound and outbound logistics, maintain accurate stock control, and help ensure goods move through the warehouse safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and manage warehouse schedules, inbound deliveries and outbound dispatches to meet operational and customer requirements.
- Manage the implementation and compliance of Health & Safety procedures, warehouse standards, and environmental initiatives, including waste management.
- Liaise with hauliers and carriers, manage delivery booking slots, and monitor transport performance.
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure the timely and efficient movement of stock.
- Work closely with warehouse operatives and supervisors to maintain an organised, productive and safe working environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain robust stock control procedures, investigate inventory discrepancies, and ensure stock records remain accurate.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve supply chain and delivery issues in a timely and professional manner.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse co-ordination, planning, or operations role.
- Proven experience and a strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures, relevant legislation, and warehouse best practices.
- Experience using Sage or a similar ERP system.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including reporting and data analysis.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business and with external partners.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics processes.
- First Aid certification is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
