Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance/Csre Taker to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our care home. This role involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, decorating and general maintenance of the home. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills and expertise and experience to support our operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular Health & Safety inspections
- Carry out fire drills
- Perform repairs to maintain functionality
- General upkeep of the home such as painting and decorating
- Carry out maintenance activities by ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system updates for compliance and tracking purposes
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests and communicating effectively with team members
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance role preferably in a care setting with strong knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
