Summary
We are seeking a dedicated self-employed HGV Class 2 Driver with experience of HIAB use to join our team in the UK. Based in Poole, this role is vital for supporting our construction projects by ensuring timely and safe transportation of materials.
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to transport materials to various sites.
- Ensure compliance with all road safety and transportation regulations.
- Being Efficient in loading and unloading cargo/plant equipment, inspecting vehicles and manoeuvring in tight spaces.
- Collaborate with site teams and line manager to meet project schedules.
- Always follow health and safety procedures.
- Yard duties as and when required by line manager is also included in this role
Qualifications
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 driving licence.
- Advantageous to hold a current CSCS certification or equivalent to enable access to site.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within construction or civil engineering sectors.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and transportation regulations.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Hours of work: 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
