In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a range of projects, analysing specifications and drawings, and working closely with internal teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.
You'll play a key role in the early stages of project delivery, helping to secure new business and ensure projects are set up for success from the outset.

The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Assess material, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs.
- Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support project teams with accurate scopes and cost information.
- Manage workflow from the receipt of enquiry to tender submission, ensuring quotations are accurate and delivered within agreed timescales
- Support the delivery of projects from award through to completion, liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintain estimating records and cost databases.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years previous estimating experience within construction/commercial fit-out
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards (CDM 2015) and commitment to Health & Safety and industry legislation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Motivated to develop and build a long-term career within a growing company
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
