Full-Time Bar & Waiting Staff

We’re looking for a full-time front of house team member to join us at The Royal — a busy, food-led gastropub known for high standards, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
What the role involves
Your duties will include a mixture of bar and floor work, including:
- Taking food and drink orders
- Serving food and drinks efficiently and professionally
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Providing warm, attentive customer service
- Handling payments and till operation
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across the bar and restaurant
- Supporting the team to ensure smooth day-to-day service
Working pattern
This is a full-time position, 5 days per week.
Shifts are varied and will include a mixture of:
- Opening shifts
- Daytime shifts
- Evening closing shifts
Weekend and evening availability is essential.
As a hospitality business, flexibility is important, particularly during busy periods including bank holidays, Christmas, and New Year.
Please note that availability to work over the Christmas period, including Christmas Day, is required.
