Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Labourer to join our assembly team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting production processes, assisting with assembly tasks, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic workshop setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly of bespoke products using hand tools and power tools as required
- Support the movement and organisation of materials within the workshop and production area
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and workspaces to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during daily tasks
- Support team members in meeting production targets and deadlines
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure standards are met
- Use of Forlklift Truck to load and off load
Requirements
- Previous bespoke assembly experience is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools and power tools is required
- Ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy items safely
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
- Forklift truck licence is essential
Your working hours will be
Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm
Friday - 7.30 am - 1.30pm
Overtime - Rare but as required.
