Duties
- Act as a friendly and approachable point of contact for students seeking academic or personal support
- Assist students with course registration, scheduling, and navigating campus resources
- Organize and facilitate student orientation sessions, workshops, and engagement activities
- Provide guidance on study techniques, time management, and academic planning
- Collaborate with teaching staff to identify students who may need additional support or intervention
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, support plans, and progress reports
- Promote a positive campus culture by encouraging student participation in extracurricular activities and peer support networks
Requirements
- Prior experience or background in teaching or educational support is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple student cases and administrative tasks
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support student development
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Knowledge of educational resources, counseling techniques, or student welfare practices is a plus
- A proactive attitude with problem-solving skills to address diverse student needs
