Are you experienced in delivering statutory support and have a passion for supporting vital services that make a difference in children’s lives?
We’re looking for a Business Support Officer to join our Children’s Care and Support Directorate. In this role, you’ll coordinate and deliver a wide range of statutory support functions, from minuting key safeguarding meetings to managing compliance checks and supporting youth justice and court instructed processes. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that ensures high-quality, timely, and accurate statutory support across multiple service areas.
Special requirements for this post
This role requires a strong understanding of statutory regulations in children’s social care and youth offending services. You’ll need to be confident using systems like Liquid Logic or Child View, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience in minute-taking for complex meetings and managing sensitive data is essential. You may also be required to provide frontline support at various service hubs and act up for the Statutory Support and Improvement Manager when needed.
About you
You’re a highly organised and adaptable support officer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication and minute taking skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You’re comfortable working independently, prioritising tasks, and escalating issues appropriately. You’re also committed to equality, diversity, and safeguarding, and you bring a respectful and inclusive approach to everything you do.
