About Us
Automotive Parts Distribution (APD Ltd) is an established automotive parts distributor committed to excellent service and internal development. We’re seeking a motivated warehouse operative who wants to learn and progress into a customer sales advisory role.
Role Overview
Start as a Warehouse Operative working alongside an experienced, supportive Manager. We’ll train the right, enthusiastic person to develop into a Parts Advisor / Sales role as your skills and confidence grow. This is a hands-on role with genuine progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Receive, check and process deliveries.
- Organise, replenish and maintain warehouse stock.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe and well organised.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock control.
- Work closely with colleagues to meet service standards.
- With training: answer customer calls, identify parts using electronic catalogues, and support trade customers.
Person Specification
- Positive, reliable, punctual and team-focused.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in accuracy.
- Willingness to learn new skills and progress into a customer-facing role.
- Good basic communication skills; confidence speaking with customers is desirable but not essential.
- Warehousing or automotive/motor factor experience is an advantage but full training will be provided.
