Gaard (Kelham) is a busy independent vegan café looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking Chef/All Rounder to join our team.
Your main role will be preparing and serving our breakfast and lunch menu, maintaining high food hygiene standards, and keeping the kitchen clean and organised. You will also be responsible for consistently creating new and exciting seasonal specials and assisting in baking. As a small independent café, all team members are cross-trained, so you'll also support our front of house team by serving customers and helping deliver excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
- An interest in vegan cooking and plant-based food.
- Kitchen or café experience preferred (but not essential).
- Cheerful, positive and confident with customers.
- Happy to work across both the kitchen and front of house.
- Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure.
- A proactive team player with a strong work ethic.
