Save on Supplements Ltd is an online Food Supplements retailer.
We sell a large range of everyday health supplements — vitamins, minerals, fish oils, and herbal products like turmeric and garlic, in capsules, softgels and tablets on multiple online platforms.
We’re a busy, growing operation, and getting orders out accurately and on time is what has kept our customers happy since 2014.
The role
You’ll be at the heart of getting our products bagged, packed and out the door. There are two sides to the job:
- Bagging by weight. We bag capsules by weight, not by hand-counting. You’ll weigh a small sample to find the average capsule weight, then work out and weigh an accurate count into each bag (for example, weighing out 360 capsules), and label it.
- Picking & dispatch. Each customer order comes as an invoice that doubles as a pick list. You’ll gather the right items, pack them together with the invoice, apply the Amazon/courier delivery label, and send them on their way.
Being accurate matters — we carry hundreds of lines, and many look alike but aren’t .
The right product, the right strength and the right label, every time, is the job.
Honestly: it’s a hands-on, fast-moving job, and at busy times there’s real time pressure to get orders out. It suits someone quick and nimble-fingered who can stay accurate when things speed up.
The environment: indoor and clean — you’re handling finished, sealed products, so there’s no powder involved. But because these are products people take every day, you’ll follow our hygiene rules — clean hands, a tidy area and good practice throughout.
You’ll suit it if
- You’re good with numbers — comfortable with the weigh-and-count maths (averages and multiplying up).
- You’ve a sharp eye for detail — right product, right strength, right label, every order.
- You’re dexterous and quick with your hands — bagging, packing and peeling labels at pace.
- You keep your head when it’s busy — steady and accurate under time pressure.
- You’re reliable — you turn up and get the orders out.
- A working level of English — enough to read invoices, labels and instructions.
Your responsibilities
- Weighing and bagging capsules to accurate counts, and labelling them.
- Picking customer orders accurately from invoices / pick lists.
- Packing orders, enclosing the invoice, and applying the courier label.
- Keeping counts, stock and your work area accurate and tidy.
- Meeting daily dispatch cut-offs.
Nice to have — not essential (we’ll train you)
- Previous picking, packing, warehouse, e-commerce or Amazon-dispatch experience.
- Comfortable using weighing scales.
- Basic computer skills.
Hours & pay
- Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm - 30 minutes lunch - 40 hours/week
- Pay: £26,436.80/year (about £12.71/hour), plus overtime at busy periods.
