Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our small friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for live music and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring customers have an enjoyable experience. Previous bar experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic setting while working in a friendly team.
Duties
- Serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently to customers
- Take orders and handle cash transactions with basic maths skills
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and responsible service of alcohol regulations
- Assist in restocking supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with customers
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times, including hygiene standards
- Support other team members as required to ensure smooth operation of the venue
Experience
- Previous experience in bar work is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with basic maths for handling payments and change
- Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills but maintain a relaxed informal approach
