Salary: £12,000 - £16,000 / Annum

About the Role
Middleton & Rose is seeking an organised and personable Accounts & Client Relations Executive to join our team in Coupar Angus.
This is initially a part-time position, with a planned transition to full-time hours within the next few months. The role offers excellent opportunities for professional development, increased responsibility and long-term career progression.
The role combines client relationship management with bookkeeping and accounts administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people while developing a career within an accountancy practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a first point of contact for client enquiries
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting clients with requests and queries
- Requesting and organising accounting records and information
- Supporting bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
- Assisting with payroll and accounts administration
- Onboarding new clients and preparing engagement documentation
- Maintaining accurate client records and databases
- Liaising with HMRC and Companies House, where required
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A professional and client-focused approach
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Previous bookkeeping, administration or client-facing experience is desirable
- Knowledge of any accounting and CRM software is advantageous
