Business Admin Apprenticeship (Please read in full before applying).
Due to our previous Business Admin Apprentice being promoted within the business, we now have an exciting opportunity available for a new apprentice.
Overview: Eat My Logo, a family-run speciality bakery in Chorley, Lancashire. Every day our team sell, manufacture, decorate and dispatch thousands of cakes, biscuits, sweets and chocolates to business customers around the UK. In this role you will learn lots of new skills and work alongside the Sales, Marketing and Finance functions within our business: This is a very varied role with duties that include, but not limited to:
- General administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office.
- Supporting our Sales team and administering customer orders placed on our websites.
- Supporting our Marketing team in tasks such as creating images and updating our websites.
- Supporting our Finance team by liaising with our customers to ensure prompt payment of invoices.
- Speaking to customers and suppliers to help with questions and queries.
Qualities: We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a desire to learn new skills, be proactive and provide support to the teams around them. Whilst we are aware you may not have any direct business administration experience, we are looking for someone who is positive, enthusiastic, with a curious nature and a desire to learn.
Qualifications: You will need to have GCSE English and Maths, grade 4 and above as a minimum.
Apprenticeship Qualification: This role includes an 18 month Business Administration qualification in conjunction with North Lancs Training Group. NLTG will oversee your qualification which includes various modules and an endpoint assessment. Please be aware that some of your course work will need to be completed in your own time.
Skills: You will need to have a good understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite of software, have good written and spoken English. This role requires talking to people on the telephone, so a confident telephone manner is important.
