Bespak are looking are looking for Machine Operators for the Kings Lynn site, PE30 2JJ. The salary for this role is £38,383 (this includes the shift allowance) plus a discretionary annual bonus. The initial benefits are 28 days holiday (accrued) + bank holidays, 8% employer contribution added to employee’s 3%, recognition awards, free parking, and a subsidised canteen.
You will be employed directly by Bespak on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential to convert to a permanent contract from the 6-month stage of employment, based on your performance and the needs of the business.
Working Pattern, 4 on 4 off - Mon 6am to 6pm / Tue 6am to 6pm / Wed 6pm to 6am / Thu 6pm to 6am - Fri+Sat+Sun+Mon off - Start the next shift on Tue at 6am for your next 4-day pattern.
The Machine Operator position is an integral part in the delivery of our market-leading drug delivery devices and is a core position in our business. All our manufacturing areas are clean environments with regulated comfortable temperatures. We are looking for people who are eager to learn how to operate and monitor our injection moulding / automated machinery in a quality focused environment.
As a Machine Operator, your duties will include:
- Operating automated assembly and injection moulding machines.
- Lifting bags of components to move them around the area.
- Completing the required documentation accurately.
- Following the health and safety procedures.
- The ability to remain standing and mobile for the 12-hour shift.
Machine Operator, beneficial key skills, and experience:
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Good oral/written English communications.
- Able to work well with other team members.
- Experience of following a process accurately.
