Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Window Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive surveys of window installations, ensuring quality standards, and providing accurate measurements and assessments. Your expertise will help optimize window designs, improve installation processes, and guarantee client satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed on-site surveys of existing window installations and new construction sites
- Measure window dimensions accurately, noting specifications for manufacturing or replacement purposes
- Assess the condition of windows, including frames, glass, seals, and hardware, identifying any defects or issues
- Analyze site conditions and provide recommendations for improvements or modifications
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and installation teams to ensure survey findings align with project requirements
- Document survey results thoroughly using standardized reporting tools
- Support quality control by verifying that installed windows meet safety and design standards
Experience
- Proven experience in building surveying, construction, or a related field with a focus on windows or glazing systems
- Strong analysis skills to interpret measurements, technical drawings, and site conditions effectively
- Familiarity with surveying tools such as laser measures, levels, and digital recording devices
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally
- Ability to work independently in various outdoor environments under different weather conditions
