Job Description:
We are therefore recruiting for a Registered Gas Engineer / Plumber.
This is a new and exciting opportunity to join our growing in-house maintenance team, providing gas engineering and plumbing services across the Adore Group's portfolio of businesses.
This includes supporting two letting agencies in Liverpool, managing maintenance and compliance across a number of residential properties and HMOs, as well as assisting with commercial premises where required.
The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of gas engineering and plumbing duties, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. You will play a key role in maintaining the safety, comfort and satisfaction of our tenants, landlords and business customers.
Your responsibilities will include diagnosing faults, undertaking plumbing repairs and installations, responding to maintenance issues, and ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations and relevant legislation.
You will be expected to maintain accurate records of work completed, communicate effectively with colleagues, tenants and landlords, and identify opportunities for preventative maintenance or improvements to properties.
As part of an in-house team, you will work closely with our property management and maintenance departments to deliver an excellent service across the Group.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Gas Engineer / Plumber who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will regularly liaise with colleagues, tenants, landlords and contractors. You should be professional, approachable and committed to representing the Adore Group positively at all times.
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong understanding of health and safety requirements, and the ability to prioritise work within a busy maintenance environment. A flexible and proactive attitude is important, along with a willingness to support the wider maintenance team when required.
Experience
· Experience working as a Gas Safe registered engineer carrying out domestic gas servicing, repairs and installations is essential.
· You should also have experience undertaking general plumbing repairs and maintenance within domestic properties.
· Previous experience working within the residential lettings, housing or property maintenance sector would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
Qualifications
- Current Gas Safe Registration (essential)
- Recognised plumbing qualification
- A good working knowledge of current gas safety legislation, plumbing regulations and best practice is essential.
