Peak Wildlife Park is a wildlife conservation centre located in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands. We are dedicated to conservation, education, and creating memorable experiences for our visitors.
As one of the region's leading family attractions, our immersive animal walkthrough experiences are among the most popular things we offer. We are looking for enthusiastic, confident, and passionate Seasonal Walkthrough Attendants to join our team and help make those experiences as safe, enjoyable, and memorable as possible.
The Role
This is a varied, people-facing role at the heart of some of our most popular visitor experiences. You will be supervising guests within our walkthrough enclosures, engaging with visitors, monitoring animal behaviour and welfare, and helping to keep things running smoothly throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising guests within our walkthrough enclosures to ensure the safety of both visitors and animals
- Engaging with visitors, answering questions, and sharing interesting facts about our animals
- Monitoring animal behaviour and welfare within the walkthrough areas
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in designated areas
- Assisting with visitor flow and ensuring park guidelines are followed
- Providing excellent customer service throughout the park
- Acting as an ambassador for Peak Wildlife Park and its conservation work
- Assisting with any other duties as required

- Flexible and willing to support different areas of the park when required
Essential
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Confidence engaging with visitors of all ages
- Reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to work weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays
- Ability to commute reliably to Peak Wildlife Park
- Must be aged 18 or over
Desirable
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, animal-related, or visitor attraction role
- Interest in wildlife, conservation, or the natural environment
No previous experience in a zoo or wildlife setting is required. Full training will be provided.
Hours & Availability
- Seasonal contract with variable hours
- Shifts will include weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays
- Flexibility is essential during peak visitor periods and special events
