Primal Strength is looking for a hands-on Service Technician to join our Distribution Centre team. This is a varied role combining technical equipment work with warehouse operations, ideal for someone who enjoys practical problem-solving and working with a wide range of machinery.
What you’ll be doing
Building and assembling new gym equipment, from cardio machines (treadmills, HIIT bikes) to strength equipment (racks, rigs, benches)
Diagnosing and repairing faults across mechanical, electrical, and structural components
Fitting replacement parts, ensuring equipment meets safety and quality standards
Supporting basic warehousing tasks: goods-in receiving, parts labelling, stock put-away, and inventory accuracy
Operating forklift trucks to move stock and parts safely around the warehouse
Processing and refurbishing returns
Liaising with the wider Service and Distribution teams
What we’re looking for
Practical experience building, repairing, or maintaining mechanical/electrical equipment (gym equipment experience is a bonus, not essential)
Comfortable using tools, reading assembly instructions/technical drawings, and working methodically
Computer literate — comfortable with basic systems for logging jobs, checking stock, and processing orders
A valid forklift licence (Reach truck essential; Counterbalance desirable)
A good eye for detail, safety-conscious approach, and willingness to get stuck in
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy distribution centre environment
Willing to travel throughout UK
Valid UK driving licence
Pay: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
