Hours: 4 days over 2 weeks that follows the below rota:
Week 1: Thursday (Porter) 10am-5pm
Week 2: Thursday (Porter) 10am-5pm; Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm
The Ropewalk Coffee Shop is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team on a part-time basis.
You will be trained in all areas of the coffee shop, including pot wash, assisting in the kitchen, and front-of-house waiting duties. This is a hands-on, physical role that involves regular movement, lifting, and being on your feet for much of the day.
We are looking for someone who is hardworking, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team.
You must be available to work at weekends and some evenings. If you are reliable, friendly and trustworthy and ready to help in any area of the kitchen & coffee shop and are over 16 and have left school we are interested in receiving your CV.
Summary of Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Waiting tables with food
- To assist in the preparation of food.
- Washing pots.
- Cleaning and keeping the workplace tidy
- Unpacking deliveries
- Emptying Bins and Recycling
- Follow Company Procedures and Rules.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is provided at all times.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene at all times in order to maintain our 5* ‘Scores on the Doors’ hygiene rating.
Relevant experience is not required as we will fully train the successful candidates.
