We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Deputy Nursery Manager to support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of our Herringthorpe nursery.
About the Role
You will:
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day management and smooth running of the nursery.
- Lead, support and motivate the staff team, including recruitment, induction, supervision and development.
- Support high standards of safeguarding, care and education in line with the EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
- Work alongside the team to deliver an ambitious, flexible and child-led curriculum within engaging environments.
- Use your knowledge of child development to support effective observation and assessment.
- Ensure staffing levels, ratios, policies and procedures are maintained.
- Support the management of concerns, complaints and incidents, escalating where appropriate.
- Promote a positive and professional environment for children, families and staff.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
- Experience working within an early years setting.
- Experience of supporting or leading a team.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- A positive, caring and professional approach.
- A genuine passion for Early Years and developing others.
