Duties
- Recognized Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Pilates (or equivalent).
- Active Public Liability Insurance.
- Valid Emergency First Aid at Work certificate ideal.
- Proven experience managing mixed-ability groups.
- Lead engaging Pilates classes tailored to diverse skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety for all participants
- Demonstrate exercises clearly, providing modifications and progressions to accommodate individual needs
- Educate clients on anatomy principles relevant to Pilates movements to enhance understanding and prevent injury
- Monitor class dynamics, offering personalized feedback to maximize effectiveness and motivation
- Maintain a clean, organised studio environment, ensuring equipment is sanitized and ready for use
- Stay updated on the latest Pilates techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development
Experience
- Proven experience teaching Pilates or similar fitness modalities in a group or one-on-one setting
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly related to core strength, flexibility, and posture alignment
- Background in sports coaching or physical education is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and connect with diverse clients
- Prior experience with teaching or coaching enhances your ability to deliver clear instructions and adapt to individual needs
