Overview
Swanley Bridge Marina is a thriving, family-run inland waterways marina on the edge of the historic market town of Nantwich, ideally positioned at the gateway to the picturesque Llangollen Canal and surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Cheshire countryside.
Set within 250 acres of picturesque farmland, the marina offers a uniquely private and secure mooring experience. We provide an extensive range of facilities, including DIY workshops, an on-site office open seven days a week, and a dedicated team ready to assist with any narrowboat brokerage enquiries.
We are now looking to appoint a Marina Administrator to join the team and support day-to-day operations of the marina.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist new and existing customers with their requirements, including showing them around the site, issuing with fuel, coal, gas etc.
- Ensure all marina emails, phone messages and mail are dealt within a timely manner.
- Process berthing enquiries in a timely manner.
- Deal with daily banking and cash reconciliation.
- Record and maintain customer information accurately using our in-house CRM system.
- Assist the Brokerage team with handling any enquiries and carrying out viewings.
- Deliver excellent customer service across the marina, ensuring a friendly and professional experience for all visitors and moorers.
- Customer facing being able to take card payments.
What we are looking for.
The ideal candidate will be approachable, proactive, and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team. A natural communicator with a passion for people and customer service, you will bring:
- Good computer skills for processing transactions and administration.
- Familiarity with marinas, narrowboats, or boating is desirable, but not essential.
- A positive, hands-on attitude with the willingness to get involved across different aspects of the marina.
- Stong customer service orientation and good communication skills.
- Proactive approach towards undertaking tasks.
