Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant to join our Out of Schools team Monday-Friday from the end of the school day until 5:45pm. The suitable candidate will help with the daily routine within our club, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all children. This position requires effective communication abilities and a passion for early childhood play and care.
Duties
- Help set up the daily activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children to foster a positive atmosphere.
- Organise activities that promote the development of children through engaging activities and programmes.
- Ensure that all children receive appropriate care and attention, catering to their individual needs.
- Communicate daily updates to parents as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a childcare or nursery setting is desired
- Qualifications in level 2 childcare is desired
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse audiences.
- Experience working with children, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs.
- A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
