Job Title: Quality Inspection Supervisor

Salary: £32,136 per annum with an excellent benefit package
Shift: Monday to Friday 14:30 - 22:30
Nupharm, a subsidiary of the Phoenix Medical Supplies Group, is looking for a Quality Inspection Supervisor to join our team in Salford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality professional to take on a supervisory role within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring medicines meet the highest quality standards before reaching patients. As part of the Phoenix Medical Supplies Group, you'll be joining a respected healthcare organisation that supports the delivery of pharmaceutical products across the UK.
As a key member of the Quality leadership team, you'll help ensure that quality standards are maintained across the site, supporting compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. You'll also deputise for the Quality Inspection Manager when required and provide day-to-day leadership to the Quality Inspection team.
What you'll be doing
- Providing support and guidance to the Quality Inspection team.
- Supporting Quality Inspection activities to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Assisting with the maintenance and development of the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Supporting and initiating investigations where required.
- Assisting with licensing related activities.
- Ensuring all quality documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Deputising for the Quality Inspection Manager when required.
- Coordinating rework activities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for
- Previous quality inspection experience within a pharmaceutical environment.
- Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- 3 A Levels or equivalent qualification.
- A recognised quality qualification.
- Experience within pharmaceutical import repacking.
- Knowledge of parallel import GMP/GDP requirements.
