About the role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be an important part of a dedicated team supporting our young people on a day-to-day basis.
You will help create a safe, stable and stimulating home environment that supports each young person’s educational, personal, emotional and social development.
No two days are the same. You may support young people with activities, education, appointments, hobbies and daily routines, while also helping them develop confidence, independence and positive relationships.
Most importantly, you will build trusting relationships and provide the consistency, encouragement and care that young people need to flourish.

Your benefits include:
- Salary up to £25,500, including sleep-in payments, with a salary review after 6 months
- Equivalent to 28 days’ annual leave
- A consistent 3-week rolling rota
- Work only 1 weekend in 3
- Just 7 shifts over a 3-week period

Working hours
Our residential team works a 3-week rolling rota, designed to provide consistency for the young people while giving our staff a predictable pattern of work.
Shift times: 7:30am – 11:30pm, including a sleep-in
Additional payment: Sleep-in shifts are paid separately.
You will work 7 shifts over 3 weeks and only 1 weekend in 3.
We can offer full-time, bank and weekend-only contracts, depending on your availability.

You don't need previous experience in residential childcare. What matters most to us is your attitude, compassion and willingness to learn.

Requirements
- You must be 21 years old or over, in line with Ofsted regulations for this role
- A full driving licence is preferable
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable, but not essential
