As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in helping us provide this for our tenants. You’ll be responsible for providing an efficient and effective financial support service to internal customers and external stakeholders. As part of the Finance Business Partnering Team you will provide a robust timely relevant financial information to budget holders and assist them to understand their spend.
What you’ll bring to our team
You’ll work closely with budget holders and senior leaders to shape financial performance and support smart, timely decision‑making. You’ll lead on monthly accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis—translating complex data into clear, actionable information. You’ll challenge assumptions, improve reporting tools, and strengthen financial controls along the way.
You’ll also support year‑end processes, liaise with auditors, and collaborate with colleagues across finance and procurement to enhance systems and value for money. As a key member of the team, you’ll share your expertise, deliver financial training, and drive improvements that boost performance and efficiency.
What we’re looking for
- Able to work independently, manage your workload, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Experienced in producing management accounts; housing sector experience is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of financial tools; Power BI/Power Query experience is an advantage.
- Detail‑focused with solid understanding of current accounting principles.
- Proven ability to deliver plans on time and within budget.
- Collaborative, customer‑focused, and aligned with organisational needs.
- Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt your style to different audiences.
- Honest, open, and promotes a positive, transparent working culture.
- Proactive in suggesting improvements, driving value for money, and constructively challenging existing processes.
Qualifications
- AAT Qualified
- CCAB part-qualified (ACA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA).

Pay: £45,737.00 per year
