We are recruiting an experienced and flexible team member to assist in the day-to-day operation, security, safety, cleanliness and general maintenance of the Doddridge Centre and St James Community Centre (SJCC).
This role will be approximately 10 hours per week.
Weekend working is required for this role with late night lock up of the Community Centre on a Saturday and Sunday evening.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
Opening building for Centre users and locking all doors and windows when not in operation
Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required. Including painting and decorating where required.
Monitoring cleaning materials, tools and furniture and reordering as required
Daily responsible to check that all doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use
Arranging chairs and tables for meetings or assemblies and clearing away afterwards
Adhering to the company’s safety policies to create a safe working environment for everyone
To assist with the periodical deep cleaning programme as required.
To collect and segregate, waste and arrange for its disposal or recycling.
To assist in the clearance of snow, ice and other hazards from paths, entrances and other essential areas as necessary.
