Night Manager
As Night Manager, you’ll take the lead during the overnight hours, ensuring our guests receive the same exceptional level of service throughout the night as they do during the day. You’ll be the senior person on site, responsible for the smooth running of the hotel, guest experience, security and overnight operations.
From welcoming late arrivals and handling guest requests to resolving unexpected issues and ensuring the building is beautifully presented for the morning team, no two nights will be quite the same.
You’ll take ownership of the hotel from evening handover through to the start of the next working day, carrying out overnight audits and checks, ensuring everything is secure, and leaving the property ready for the team and guests arriving the following morning.
What You'll Be Doing
- Take responsibility for the hotel as Manager on Duty throughout the night
- Deliver a warm, professional and personalised experience to all guests, including late arrivals and overnight requests
- Handle guest queries, complaints, special requests and any unexpected situations with confidence and professionalism
- Complete the evening handover and take ownership of the overnight operation
- Carry out overnight audits and operational checks, ensuring all systems and financial procedures are accurate
- Ensure the hotel is secure, safe and fully locked down throughout the night
- Monitor the building and address any maintenance, security or operational issues that arise
- Work closely with the daytime team to ensure an effective handover and a seamless transition into the next working day
- Ensure the hotel is clean, organised and operationally ready for the morning team and early-arriving guests
