Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Server/Wait Staff to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and a passion for guest service are essential. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of tables, side stations, and service areas
- Handle guest queries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations diligently
- Assist with basic food preparation or setup as required during quieter periods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the service flow
- Manage multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining high standards of service
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and serving protocols
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks when needed
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in order-taking and presentation
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales potential
