Our client, a highly successful and established main dealer group, is looking for an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead its Aftersales operation in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven automotive management professional with experience running a busy Service Department, Workshop and Parts operation within a franchised dealership environment.
Candidates currently working as an Aftersales Manager, Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Service Reception Manager, Aftersales Leader, Aftersales Controller or Service Director are encouraged to apply.
The Role
As Aftersales Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of the dealership's Aftersales operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing the Service, Workshop and Parts departments
- Delivering Aftersales revenue, profit and volume targets
- Driving workshop productivity, efficiency and labour performance
- Monitoring departmental KPIs and implementing improvement plans
- Maximising Service and Parts sales opportunities
- Maintaining excellent levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Ensuring manufacturer standards and dealership processes are consistently achieved
About You
To be considered for this Aftersales Manager vacancy in Glasgow, you should have:
- Previous experience as an Aftersales Manager, Service Manager or similar senior Aftersales professional
- Proven experience within a main dealer or franchised dealership
- Strong knowledge of automotive Service, Workshop and Parts operations
- A proven track record of delivering Aftersales KPIs
- Experience improving productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Experience managing and developing a large automotive team
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills
- The ability to analyse performance and implement effective improvement plans
- A self-motivated, organised and results-focused approach
