Senior Interior Designer (Technical)

We’re supporting a progressive, forward thinking architectural and design practice as they continue to grow their Bristol team. They’re looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer (Technical) with strong Revit capability and proven experience delivering complex commercial and private sector projects.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with the Creative Lead on a major multi‑building commercial/private sector development, taking responsibility for technical delivery, detailed drawing packages and client engagement. You’ll help shape design solutions, respond to client needs and confidently lead meetings when required.
This role suits a motivated, solutions‑focused designer who enjoys non‑standard briefs, bespoke joinery detailing and producing high‑quality technical information within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Lead technical delivery across complex interior design projects
- Produce detailed Revit models, technical drawing packages and bespoke joinery details
- Prepare specifications, schedules and high‑detail technical information
- Support client meetings and manage expectations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
- Conduct formal design reviews with senior colleagues
- Provide technical guidance during design development, technical design and construction
- Delegate and oversee workloads, supporting junior team members
- Ensure compliance with British Standards, BSA legislation and project delivery requirements
What we’re looking for
- Interior Design / Interior Architecture degree or equivalent technical qualification
- Proven experience delivering complex interior design projects through RIBA stages
- Exceptional Revit skills and confidence structuring technical models
- Strong product knowledge and ability to produce detailed specifications
- Ability to produce bespoke joinery packages and unique design solutions
- Strong client care skills with adaptability to changing demands
- Collaborative approach with the ability to build positive relationships
- Excellent time management and ability to work autonomously
- Understanding of traditional contract delivery requirements
- Ability to guide consultants and site teams during technical and construction stages
- Enscape or SketchUp capability and familiarity with AI tools
