We're looking for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver to join our transport team for the busy game season. You'll play an important role collecting and transporting game from estates across Scotland, helping keep our seasonal operation running safely, efficiently, and on time.
Every day brings something different, from travelling through stunning rural landscapes to working alongside estate staff, gamekeepers, and our production team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Collecting and transporting game from estates and collection depots across Scotland
- Safely operating Class 2 HGV vehicles on rural roads and estate tracks
- Loading, securing, and transporting carcasses and palletised goods
- Maintaining cold chain integrity and high food hygiene standards
- Completing daily vehicle checks and keeping your vehicle clean and roadworthy
- Accurately completing transport paperwork and delivery records
- Building strong working relationships with estate staff, gamekeepers, and colleagues
- Following all drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
What We're Looking For
- Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence
- Current Driver CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous HGV driving experience (food, logistics, agricultural or rural work is an advantage, but not essential)
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations and transport compliance
- Comfortable working independently in rural locations
- Reliable, professional, and safety focused
- Flexible and happy to work early starts and longer hours during the busy season
Hours & Contract
- Seasonal fixed-term contract
- Up to 60 hours per week during peak season
- Plenty of overtime available
Pay & Benefits
- Starting from £16.00 per hour, depending on experience
