Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Mobile Patrol Driver to ensure the safety and security of our premises through regular patrols and surveillance. In this role, you will operate a company vehicle to monitor multiple locations, conduct security inspections, and respond swiftly to incidents. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to loss prevention will help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in safeguarding our operations while engaging in dynamic patrol activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled mobile patrols of customer sites.
- Lock and unlock client premises.
- Respond promptly to alarm activations and emergency call-outs.
- Conduct internal and external security patrols.
- Record and report incidents, hazards and suspicious activity accurately.
- Complete incident reports and patrol records using company systems.
- Safely manage and transport client keys in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure company vehicles are clean, roadworthy and sufficiently fuelled.
- Occasionally transport members of staff between sites when operationally required.
- Carry out additional operational duties as requested by management.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- A valid SIA Front Line Licence.
- A full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a Mobile Security Officer or Mobile Patrol role.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to provide a full 5-year employment history in accordance with BS7858 screening requirements.
Working Hours
- 4 on, 4 off night shift pattern.
- Hours will be discussed at interview.
- Flexibility is essential to meet operational requirements and provide cover when required.
