Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within private residences and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
- Assist with laundry, bed-making, and organising spaces as required
- Restock supplies and report any maintenance issues or damages
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Occasionally prepare light refreshments or assist with basic cooking tasks as needed for clients
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests politely and professionally
Experience
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is desirable, including hotel or commercial cleaning roles
- Experience in domestic cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Skills in cooking or preparing light meals are advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Organised, reliable, and punctual with good time management skills
