Production Operative / Machine Operator

The Role
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives / Machine Operators to join a global manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-volume production environment operating modern, automated machinery.
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring products meet required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate automated moulding and assembly machinery
- Carry out quality checks and accurately complete QA documentation
- Identify and report faults or defects to the Supervisor and QA team
- Respond promptly to machine alarms and production issues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment (housekeeping)
- Support continuous production flow and meet output targets
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 1 year’s factory/manufacturing experience within the last 3 years
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work continental shifts (including days and nights)
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Health & Safety qualification
- Previous experience operating automated machinery
