Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part TimeHousekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. You will work alongside a dedicated care team This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within residential and commercial care site, we have a small expanding care home on a smallholding, along with accessible holiday accommodation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a client-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is essential. A valid driving licence is essential to facilitate travel to rural location. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional service environment while developing valuable skills. We are looking for a part time salaried role with a regular commitment to set hours, with the option to work overtime or flexibly with other team members and the service to provide cover when required. Will consider self employed applicants.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure all rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Organise cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently for each shift.
- Communicate effectively with management team, the wider care team and the residents to understand specific cleaning requirements or preferences.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with laundry and linen services when required.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is desirable but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driving licence is preferred for travel between multiple locations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
